Not sure how many people celebrate it, but back home, today is Father's Day.

It's a day where people give presents or cards or whatever to their fathers, to show them that they appreciate them and care about them and stuff.

[And now Derek's feeling awkward. There wasn't really a reason for this explanation, other than than he's feeling sentimental. Awkward and sentimental. But one of the only good influences in his life have been his father figures, so.]

So, uh. Happy Father's Day to all the dads, I guess.


[He's also left a small basket outside of Kevas's door, with a plate of cheese biscuits and a carefully carved and polished wooden knife that's probably more decorative then practical, but it's the best he can do.]

This is stupid.

[Guess who woke up this morning with a pair of white, fluffy wings?]

None of my shirts fit anymore.

[His usual plan of 'hide behind as many layers as possible' is officially no longer viable.]


[Sealed to Chloe:]

I can't smell. Or hear. Or lift anything, it's all - gone.

[His tone starts off irritated, but ends slightly incredulous.]

[Sealed to Chloe]

I need to go to the forest. You don't have to come with if you don't want to. [He leaves 'but please come' unspoken.]


[Sealed to Alex]

Time for a Change. Gonna be out in the forest and on the grounds for the next while, if you feel like going for a run or something.


[After Changing, Derek can be found wandering around the forest and the Keep grounds as a huge black wolf. Come play with the big, fluffy puppy?]

Alex, Toph, Shepard, Kevas.

[There's a brief pause.]

Chloe's asking after Sollux, even though I already saw you post, and Jack, Talia, Bobby, Xanth, and Kairi.

You okay?

[There's a muffled voice that sounds like Chloe protesting, then the audio clicks off. Derek's still watching the journals, though, and will answer.]
